This is a fun little romp I made for a server competition going on for the RPG Maker Horror and Themed jam discord It's a really nice community!! Really cool place to foster some creativity and chat with fellow indie game nerds.
This is a maybe 5-10 minute "game" that's mostly a referential memory lane walk down some of my past projects and to poke fun at one of my favorite punny jokes.
You will find references to my games such as :
Invasive Species! Sad forest lesbians.
Round and Round - weird one that's low key unfinished but still a kooky visual display.
Sweet Dreams - my very first game jam game with my very first pixel art!
Drift Away- personally one of my favs I've made tbh. I think it has the best "gameplay" that I've done and I like those kinds of games, survival horror with a sad story twist.
If You Love Me - a fun little tale that ventures into the layers of hell. For me, this is the answer to a question I had in my heart about what is "good" to sacrifice for love.
I really love story telling, I really love art. I love laughs and I love tears. I usually hide behind a veil of serious metaphor or a tear jerker story because to me those kinds of vulnerabilities are easy to understand.
Sometimes "what is funny" is a bit too vague or ephemeral for me to get. So I often avoid writing comedy because I feel if I have to read a joke I wrote 10, 20 times while playtesting my head will actually explode and that'll be a HUGE mess. Ick. So. I thought I'd take a chance and force myself to make a funny game in a very short time so I don't HAVE the chance to over think it. Who cares if it's funny!! This is the year of being shameless. Have fun.

even in such a short format the storytelling is well done and comes across. and i like the world of number puns that expands from a clever twist of the theme.

thank you! This was a fun little project, just really hyperfixated on it for a day. The 7 design is my fav - when designing it I was thinking of greater than and less than symbols and how as a kid I always drew teeth on them haha.
I thought this was really charming! I'm not familiar with your previous work, so I'll have to discover your references in reverse XD
Anyway, I thought this was fun, and I did appreciate its levity :3
Also I think 7 looks super cool :V
A very quick and kooky fun time. Played into the joke of the pun, and was delighted by the surprise end. 10/10
